Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011: The 3D Experience splashes onto Blu-ray with a nice-looking 3D image, but it's not a reference-grade title. General natural depth ranges from fair to good; sprawling ocean vistas, sandy beaches, and rocky waterfalls all look quite good, extending well back into the screen and appearing naturally shapely where aplicable. A shot looking out towards the ocean at sunset with a girl walking towards the camera (seen around the 18:40 mark) is the best the film has to offer; it practically places the viewer on the beach and all that's missing is the smell of the ocean, the blowing sea breeze, and the soft feel of warm sand under the feet (that's quite a bit missing, actually!).
